Welcome to UnwelcomeDoormats. Doormats for all! The rude, the crude, the funny, the chic, the geek, the cute, the sweet.

VERY IMPORTANT: ANY change requests to a stock design will AUTOMATICALLY move you to the “It's YOUR Personalized Custom Hand Painted Welcome Doormat - Your design idea/image”. That's the reason we have this mat, your idea brought to life=custom.

Returns and exchanges

I gladly accept returns and exchanges* (For stock items)

Contact me within: 3 days of delivery
Ship items back within: 30 days of delivery

I don't accept cancellations

The following items can't be returned or exchanged

Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders

Return Policy

Note: We are not a department store. We handcraft art for you when you order it.

Personalized and custom orders will not be accepted for returns, simple. Please don't try it, we just won't. This includes paint color changes.

That being said, there are things we will do:

Unused, non-personalized/custom doormats can be exchanged at buyer's expense. Within 48 hours of receiving an item, you wish to exchange, you MUST contact us. This ensures everyone's honesty that the item is unused.

Before you confirm a custom order, check, double check, triple check for accuracy. Remember the above policy, these doormats will not be accepted for returns.

Payment

Payments are through Paypal and you don't even need to make an account! Just pay through Paypal with your credit card.
Payments are also through secure Shopify merchant payment options and you don't even need to make an account! Just pay as a guest with your credit card.

Doormat prices vary due to the complexity, amount of time, and/or amount of paint required for each mat as it's created.
Shipping
You will be receiving a handcrafted doormat from us. We create your doormat when you order it as we are a small business and cannot house stacks of inventory.

So be advised, it will take up to ten days to craft your doormat for you. We will do our best to work towards a shorter duration, but we are allowing up to ten days per order. Before any mat is shipped, it must be ready to ship; which means your mat has to be completely dry before we can box it up for shipment.

Shipping costs will be purchased at the time of the purchase of your mat thru Shopify only. We're sorry, but shipping costs will only be dealt with in this way.

Sometimes the end of your ten day window may fall on a Sunday (or a holiday), if that happens, we will work very hard to try and ship your mat on Saturday (or the day before), but, please be advised, that to ensure your mat is ready for shipment, we reserve the right to ship on Monday (or the following day after the holiday).

Shipping cost is calculated through Shopify by your geographical location and will be handled by USPS. You may have the option of Standard Parcel Post or Priority Shipping. Shipping times are only estimates and we have no control over delays caused by unforeseen circumstances once the package is in the hands of the shipping entity. Parcel Post is the cheapest option AND also the slowest; items can take 1-4 weeks to arrive, depending on weather conditions, flight cancellation, etc. All dates provided are Estimates from USPS and are out of our control.

Priority Shipping Estimated Delivery time: 2-15 Business Days (Mon-Sat) Average: 2-3 Business Days

Custom doormats, i.e. your own design/image, may take longer than ten days to paint due to complexity of request and communications with buyer about designs. Doormats affected by this addendum are the “Custom - Your design idea / image” and the “The Walking Dead Zombie Customizable Family Doormat”.
